Double Podium for GotBoost at Brands Hatch

GotBoost Racing got its Ginetta GT5 Challenge season underway at Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit in Kent.

Qualifying saw the two Got Boost drivers, Jack Minshaw and Nick Zapolski, occupying the second row of the grid. A superb drive on lap one prior to the emergence of the Safety Car saw both drivers ideally positioned when racing resumed with only around five minutes on the clock, Chadwick edged away from the pack to cross the line seven and a half seconds ahead of Zapolski and Minshaw, who both found a way around Richardson to claim the final podium positions.

It was a similar story in race two. An early red flag meant a second bite of the cherry for most drivers when the race was restarted, but it was Zapolski who led from lights after a blistering start. Only to be caught up in an incident that led to both cars suffering extensive damage. leading the way

The final race of the day featured the first reverse grid draw of the season and it was amazing to see both GotBoost Racing cars out just hours after the damage sustained earlier. Starting from the back of the grid both cars progressed steadily through the field with Zaploski finishing 8th and Minshaw  9th.
