Minshaw returns for 2016

Third-generation racing driver, Jack Minshaw is set to return to the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2016, in the Demon Tweeks car with GBR, GotBoost Racing.

The 25-year-old from Cheshire made his debut in the British GT support series in 2015, seeing it as the ideal place to cut his teeth in GT racing. Having finished inside the championship top 10 this season, Jack now has his sights set on a place inside the championship top five.

Jack Minshaw, driver; “The Ginetta GT5 Challenge is such a competitive championship that it offers a perfect training ground for ambitious GT drivers. Having learnt the ropes in 2015, next season offers a great opportunity to further improve my driving and hopefully get some better results. In turn, that should give me the perfect stepping stone to eventually move into GT racing.”

Hayley Hickmore, Ginetta GT5 Challenge Coordinator; “We’re delighted to have Jack back on the grid in 2016. He showed real pace last season, and now, with a year of experience with both the car and circuits, he will be in a real position to challenge for champagne and silverware.”

Andy Crook, GBR Technical Director “We are expecting Jack to build on last year, and are delighted he has chosen to stay with the team. We know what he is capable of and we are looking forward to 2016.”
