Your car’s air conditioning plays an important function within your car. So much more than just keeping the inside of your car cool during warm weather. When working properly, air conditioning helps to improve the air quality inside your vehicle, filtering out; pollutants, airborne bacteria and pollen. However, over time, the refrigerant gas in your car’s air conditioning system diminishes, especially when the system isn’t used regularly.

At GotBoost Racing we carry out car air conditioning servicing at our workshop in Pyle, Bridgend, CF33 6BZ. Our team of experts are on hand to ensure your car air conditioning is working as it should be.

Pre Inspection of the Air Conditioning System
Before we carry out any work an Air Con Pre Inspection is carried out which includes:

● Operation Checks, including temperatures
● Refrigerant Identification
● An inspection of the air conditioning system components

After the pre-inspection, we will offer you either our full air conditioning service or our air conditioning diagnostic service. If the system is working we will work to the manufacturer’s guidelines to replace and recharge lubricant and refrigerant levels. We will remove and filter the refrigerant. Perform a vacuum leak test, which also removes moisture from the system, before recharging with the correct lubricant and refrigerant levels.

Fault Reporting
If we find a problem with your air-con system during the service. We will contact you to discuss the recommended repairs with you before proceeding. We do not carry out repairs without your consent.

Bacteria Removal
As well as servicing your car’s air conditioning, we also offer a powerful anti-bacterial clean. This is to remove 99% of the harmful bacteria which build up within the system over time. This helps prevent any unpleasant smells which may circulate around your vehicle.
